How to measure a t-shirt. Chest width is measured across, not around, the chest one inch below the armhole when laid flat. Length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom of the shirt.

Comfort Colors 1717 measurements

All measurements are in inches, taken on the garment laid flat. These are the manufacturer’s figures for the blank we print on.

Size Chest width Length
S 18 ¼ 26 ⅝
M 20 ¼ 28
L 22 29 ⅜
XL 24 30 ¾
2XL 26 31 ⅝
3XL 27 ¾ 32 ½
4XL 29 ¾ 33 ½

Choosing a size

The 1717 is a relaxed, boxy cut with no side seams. If you are between sizes, or you want a looser drape, size up. It is pre-shrunk, so it will not change much in the wash.

The easiest way to get it right is to measure a t-shirt you already like wearing and match it to the chest width above.
